Daniel Hemric at the Legends Car Nationals
October 11, 2010
Daniel Hemric raced this past weekend at the Legend Car National Championship Race in Langley, Virginia.  Daniel was atop the speed charts on day one of practice and was looking good for his heat race on Friday. After getting a good start in his heat race Daniel Hemric took the lead and never looked back, for this win and his top speeds on the speed chart this earned him a 1st place starting position for Saturday's main event. Daniel and competitor Doug Stevens had a great race going running first and second respectively up until a late race caution came out. A new car decided to enter the mix, the Kyle Beattie machine. Kyle took the race into his own hands and wrecked BOTH of the leaders. Daniel was very disappointed as he felt this was his race to win. Daniel's next race will be the Southern Whelen Modified Tour event at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC. Daniel would like to thank Hoyt Demis, Kelvin Locklear, KMK Enterprises, Ruston Racing and Development, Short Track Action, SumSeeds, Racing Electronics, Joie of Seating, and Dan Snyder Racing.

Daniel Hemric Attempts Run at Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300 at Martinsville
October 4, 2010
Daniel Hemric attempted to qualify for this past weekends Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300 at Martinsville Speedway.  This race is the biggest Late Model Stock Car race in the country all year and over 90 cars came out to qualify for the event. Daniel was racing a car owned  by NASCAR Truck Series owner Ricky Benton and set up by Ricky's truck series crew chief. They had a difficult time setting up the car the way it should be and struggled all day through Friday's practice. They decided to change a variety of things before Saturday mornings qualifying run but even this didn't seem to help things much. Daniel's qualifying run did not guarantee him a spot in Sunday's main event so he was forced to run the heat races on Sunday morning to have a chance in making it. Daniel was running well and gaining spots in his heat race but got caught up in an accident which ended his day. Daniel's next race will be the NASCAR Southern Whelen Modified Tour event on October 14th at Charlotte Motor Speedway, for tickets please visit www.charlottemotorspeedway.com. Daniel would like to thank Ricky Benton, Hoyt Demis, Ruston Racing and Development, Racing Electronics, SumSeeds, and Joie of Seating.

Kenzie Ruston Races the PASS Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway
September 8, 2010
This past Labor Day Weekend the PASS South Series raced at the historic North Wilkesboro Speedway in North Wilkesboro, NC. Kenzie and her Jeff Fultz racing team were excited for the opportunity to be present at the reopening of such a piece of NASCAR history. During Friday's practice Kenzie showed she had all the right stuff to win the race, her car was quick and she was picking up the track like she had been there many times before. Her practice times were among the quickest all day and she never went outside the top ten on the speed charts. Kenzie continued with her fast times on Saturday morning where she again among the quickest. During qualifying Kenzie laid down the 5th quickest lap and was excited about the opportunity to redraw. With a little luck on her side Kenzie drew a 2 which meant she would start in the 2nd position for the race. Although, Kenzie's luck for the weekend soon ran out and she would not be able to start the race from her position as her rear end broke during warm up laps. Kenzie dropped to the rear of the field before the green flag was dropped and she only completed two laps before bringing her car to the garage area. She would like to thank all of her sponsors for allowing her the opportunity to race and cannot wait to fix her car so that she can go back out there and do it again! Special thanks to Irwin Trailers, Racing Electronics, SumSeeds, Avista Sports, KMK Enterprises, Jeff Fultz Racing, and all her crew that came out to help.
